MATERIAIS 2019 - XIX Congresso da Sociedade Portuguesa de Materiais e X International Symposium on Materials

Texto:MATERIAIS 2019 will explore the latest scientific and technical developments in Material Science and Engineering, and related areas, bridging different knowledge domains under the scope of the main thematic “Materials for a Better Life”. The International Symposium will cover all materials areas, namely Functional Materials, Structural Materials and Materials Processing, Characterization and Modelling. A school will be organized dedicated to Materials for Flexible Electronics and Sensing and, for the first time, a Special Session on Cultural Heritage will take place.

MATERIAIS 2019 continues the long-standing and well established MATERIAIS conferences organized every two years by the Portuguese Materials Society (SPM). This will be the nineteenth National and the tenth International Materials Conference, since the inaugural one, held in Lisbon in 1983 and following the last meeting in Aveiro (MATERIAIS 2017). MATERIAIS 2019 is sponsored by the Federation of European Materials Societies (FEMS).
